Mental Health and students

Students' mental health has been a growing concern in the past 10 years. Back then, students with special needs were not a common topic. However, recently, terms such as ADD, ADHD, Autism, are more common in schools.

Reports have shown that nutrition such as high quality probiotics and omega 3 can improve the mental health of students. Our team has realized that nutrition is very beneficial for our students so we have put together a team of nutritionists to provide in-home nutrition consultation in an attempt to help our students. A study in the link below has shown that probiotics alleviates autism-like behaviours in mice.

Universities and colleges also realized that 1in 4 college students has a mental health concern. We are very happy to see that there are organizations who are taking an initiative to help students to improve their mental health challenges.

  1. Mental health really impacts how students learn, socialize, and cope with pressure—especially in times of change or uncertainty. Having supportive adults (teachers, tutors, parents) who listen without judgment can make all the difference. If anyone’s looking for local help in tutoring and academic support here’s a resource to check out might be useful.
